I would love to join the army either infantry or tank regiment however I feel my hyper mobility affects this is there a way around this or am I stuck not being able to join up
Hi, unfortunatately due to this being more of a medical question and everyone is so different there is no yes you can / no you can't join. Unfortunately until you'd apply and your medical records are looked at by the professionals we just don't know. If you have problems that you have had to see Drs a lot about and have lots in your medical records then this would affect your chances of joining. The army has a duty of care therefore if you have problems before joining the army wouldn't want to be the cause of increasing those problems. If you have hyper mobility but can lead a life when you are active, play sports and have no problems then obviously that increases the likelihood of a successful application. I wish you all the very best of luck.
