Thanks for your question.
Whilst being in the Army is inherently dangerous and that is something you must understand and accept, being in a Challenger II (CR2) is probably the safest place you could be!
The CR2 is incredibly safe and is considered the best British armoured platform on the battlefield. In fact, no one has ever died from an IED strike in a CR2.
