Hello. I joined when I was 18 and did the senior entry 14 weeks basic training. I would say the best thing to do is what you are told by your recruiter or by an official publication. If you do everything you are told at every stage of the recruitment process then you won't fail. The medical physical isn't necessarily something you can prepare for except to generally try to keep yourself fit and healthy. Thanks, and if you have any other questions please let me know.
Hey! Thanks for the direct question.
I was 21 when I joined. Preparing wise, I’d definitely recommend getting out and getting as many miles into your legs as possible. Do some build up weight training aswell, upper and lower body. This will help with not only the entry tests but make physical exercise somewhat easier during training.
Also take into consideration stretching and rest days!
Hope this helps, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
