To apply for the Parachute Regiment you will have to be over 15 years 7 months.

You must be at least 16 years old to start training at AFC Harrogate, though you can begin the application process at 15 years and 7 months. Candidates under 18 years old, will also need parental consent to join. Dont be put off because your only 14. Use the time you have now to best prepare yourself for a career in the army. It's important to note that joining the infantry doesn’t require any GCSE’s however I would always recommend that you try to get the best grades that you can as this will help you progress higher and faster in your career. The Parachute Regiment does also require recruits to pass rigorous selection process, including the Pre-Parachute Selection (P Company), which is known for its demanding physical and mental challenges. Take the time now to best prepare yourself for this by training regularly in Cardio and strength training.
