How often do you get posted to a different location within the UK?

Hi, this depends on your role and capbadge. Sometimes it could be every 2-3 years but in some capbadges you could stay around the same location for years. For example, many of the Royal Artillery units are now based around Salisbury Plain so you could move into different units but all based on the same camp. Most Infantry units don't ever move so you wouldn't necessarily move (unless you went to work in a training establishment or recruiting for example) for your entire time in the Army.

Hi, thank you for the reply. I’m interested in becoming an Ammo Tech. Do they change postings frequently if attached to 11 EOD?

Ammo Tech's do move around but as a very specialist trade it's far, far less frequently than other trades. I hope that helps. Good luck with your application.
