As with any military role there is always a chance that you could deploy. For reservists however, mobilising is quite rare unless you are a volunteer or you are in a specialist trade. Most Reservists would tend to do work in the UK when we have a national crisis (ie flooding, fuel strike, fire strike etc). In the outbreak of war, if necessary Regulars and Reserves would all deploy.
