It depends on your role, unit and whether or not you are due to deploy. Most soldiers have to pass an annual assessment and will have build up training for this. Prior to deployment you will practice more regularly.

Hi Philip,

When you get deployed for the first time will vary from soldier to soldier depending on what role you are doing and what your first posting is.
There is a chance this may mean you are deployed in the first 4 years.
