Hi Molly,
The frequency of deployments for a medic can vary greatly depending on where they are currently working and what courses they have completed during their career. Some may deploy several times a year (usually shorter deployments if they are doing multiple per year, there is a limit to how much time we spend away from home), others may deploy once every few years.
There are very few, if any, deployments that would not require at least one medic, so yes, anything the Army does (like working with/alongside the UN) will also involve our medics.
