How much of my time as an intelligence officer will be spent in an actual office and what will that feel like

Online it says that a lot of time as an int officer is spent in office with your team. What exactly does this mean? How long does this last for at a time? Does it change from deployment to being in UK? Is it like being in a civilian office or not? Do you interact with people outside your section?

    Good afternoon,

A lot is exactly how it's listed, a lot. I realize this may not help much but you need to realize that intelligence Officers tend to be inside, monitoring the comings and goings of everything and everyone that is of interest to the British Army.

They are the one that plan far ahead, make deducts of what our enemy's are planning in order to better prepare the Force as a whole. They are responsible for collecting, analyzing and disseminating intelligence. This can't be done running around like an Infanteer.
