How much do you pay on accommodation per month in basic training and once you’ve passed?

I am 2 months into a 12 month tenancy, but I really want to start my training journey, hopefully going in as a ‘driver air dispatch’ as listed on the jobs website. How much could I expect to spend on accommodation and food, basic living, during training and once I’ve passed through?

It depends on where you're posted (some accommodation is better/newer and so a little more expensive).

The upper-end single living accommodation is around £95 a month and comes out of your pay. That includes utilities, too.

You can also get service family accommodation. As an example, through the Army I have a three bedroom house which costs me around £425 a month and, as previously mentioned, comes out of my pay. That includes rent, tax, water, and furnishings (mine's fully furnished which costs me £5.27 a month). Gas & electricity is separate and we have freedom to choose our providers.

As for food you can get 3 meals a day for well under £10.
