    Hello Charlie,

You start learning your trade at Initial Trade Training (ITT), which is after your Basic Training.

ITT prepares you for your role by giving you a foundation knowledge of your trade. The time it takes to complete ITT depends on your chosen role, you can find out specific details in the role's page on Army Jobs website.

Your trade training doesn't stop at ITT: you'll train throughout your career and progression is a prerequisite for promotion and job opportunities.

I hope that helps. Please feel welcome to ask any follow up questions in the comments.

I'm not a clinician so I can't give you a definitive answer, but I do know that it depends on the severity and need for treatment. Unfortunately, the only way to know is to apply and go through the medical assessment.
