    Hi there, great question.
Training duration's vary depending on age and role within the Infantry. If you are over the age of 17 years and 6 month, Phase 1 and 2 training would take place at the Infantry Training Centre in Catterick, The Combat Infantryman's Course for Line Infantry is 28 week, Infantry Guardsman and Infantry Paratroopers is 30 weeks.
If you were under the age of 17 years and 6 months, phase 1 training would take place at the Army Foundation College in Harrogate and is for 49 weeks.
On completion of phase 1 training at Harrogate you would then go on and complete phase 2 training at the Infantry Training Centre, Catterick. Phase 2 training for Line Infantry 10 weeks, Infantry Guardsman 12 weeks, Infantry Paratrooper 14 weeks.
