Becoming a paramedic from a CMT is very challenging. You usually have to have a lot of experience first and be fully qualified to the correct standard, have a completed a portfolio, as well as completing a validation course. If you are successful in you Paramedic application which is highly competitive then you will start university at the date they set. Usually within the year of being a successful applicant, you will then have to do the full 3 year degree at the university. Because of this process it can usually take between 3-5 years without the prep work leading to it.
