Does this 4 year term also apply to Reserves as well? if not what is the difference? Thanks

    Hello, Ty.

The four years service is for Regular soldiers only, but you can put your notice in on the third year and work off the rest of your years notice.

The Reserves are different, they consist of people that have a normal job or they are in further education and then do the Reserves as a hobby.
Most Reserves units parade on a Tuesday evening to conduct some form of training and they work some weekends as well.
You don't have to parade on every Tuesday evening, you choose when you want to turn up but there is a minimum you need to attend to receive your bounty.

I hope this helps in answering your question.
