I am considering joining the army reserves as CMT or HR specialist. Considering my civilian job and career I would like to know whatâs the longest period army reservists typically deploy For?

Reservists will get attached to a regular unit on deployment. Their roles on tour can vary slightly compared to regular serving soldier on tour. For instance, if your employer can only allow a few months away from work, they will cater this to you and find you a role for that period. If you wanted, you could deploy for a full tour from anything up to 8 months.
