How does studying and training as a biomedical scientist actually work?

Is it that you study during the time you serve or is it that you study then you provide 4 years minimum of service. Also how does tuition work? Is it that its fully paid or do you receive bursaries annually?

    Hi there!

Our Biomedical Scientists firstly complete their 14-week initial military training to teach them how to solider. It is from this point that they begin to be paid as a salaried soldier within the British Army. After this 14-weeks they then move to Birmingham to conduct their BSc in Biomedical Science. This course is paid for by the Army, you continue to be paid as a soldier and receive all the benefits including subsidised accomodation that soldier receives. Your return of service will begin on completion of your degree and joining the field army in that role.
