How does one join the rifles? Are you offered a spot in the first phase at caterrick?

Your job choice on your portal should be the one you chose when you attended your ABICD ( army brief individual careers discussion )
If it’s not, contact your recruiter and get it changed.
Failing that, when you get to ITC catterick you fill in something called a PPP where you choose your desired regiment, not all will get their chosen one

I have already attended my ABICD in my first assessment and had to go for a sickle cell test because I am a commonwealth candidate. I am scheduled for my bleed test soon. I am still interested in the infantry but would prefer my regiment to be in the Rifles.
