I am really interested in joining the army intelligence corps after I complete university and I was wondering how and when corps selction for officer works?
If you are going to uni you might also want to look at opportunities at the University Officer Training Corps (UOTC) associated to your uni. It's like the Army Reserves (no commitment to join the Reg or Res army at all) as you will be paid for your time - it can sometimes be far better than trying to find a more 'conventional' uni job! It's also great exposure to the Reg army (and you could have the opportunity to spend time with the Int Corps for example).
However, to answer your question - in order to be an officer you need to apply, spend 2 days doing the Army Officer Selection Board (Briefing) (AOSBB) at Westbury - if you are successful with this briefing you would then spend 3 days at Westbury completing the Army Officer Selection Board. If you are successful on this you have your 'golden ticket' to The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) where you spend almost 12 months learning how to be an officer. You attend RMAS when you want to attend (there are 3 intakes every year: January, May and September). When you are at RMAS you have an opportunity (regardless of whether you have already done so) to look at different Corps. Loads can be found online about AOSB. I hope this helps and good luck with both uni (definitely look at the UOTC) and whatever you decide to do.
