Your lived experience in the military is different for everyone. For example you may come from a large family and used to a team ethic.
What you do have is a very diverse and inclusive organisation that is very different to the social norms of civilian life.

Depending on what your regiment, battalion or role is.

If your unit isn’t preparing for exercise or operation you could find yourself doing some sort of fitness, some level training as an example

If your preparing for an exercise or operation, you can find yourself on various course, exercises and lots of training to prepare

Each regiment is different, for example.
Someone who is a vehicle mechanic has a role of fixing and maintaining vehicles and could find themselves working on vehicles all day
