Hi there,
So we have a team who, after many years of experience, lead with the choreography of parades, particularly in London where the Garrison Sergeant Major is the lead for all ceremonial duty. Training for them is all about practise! Every parade has weeks of preparation and instruction to make sure it's perfect when the big day arrives.
Hi Josh, thanks for your help. Could you tell me more about the history of these parades- or perhaps point me towards a resource/ person who could?
Thanks
Our most famous parade each year is Trooping the Colour. Encyclopaedia Britannica gives a nice summary of its history here - https://www.britannica.com/topic/Trooping-the-Colour.
