how do we get to the Special Air service? are there any qualifications for a person with no english GCSE qualification?

The SAS can only be entered once you have served a minimum time of 4 years in the Armed forces in that time you would more than likely have gained a functional skills equivalent in English.

https://apply.army.mod.uk/roles/infantry/sas-reserve - As you can see, zero qualifications required. However, this is for the reservist part-time role. As Jordon said, to do SAS full time as a regular soldier, you must be serving already.
