Abijah G. asked a question to Holly J.
Hello Abijah, thanks for your question.
You can download the ArmyFit app on Apple and android devices, this will provide you with help on how to improve your 2km time.
My personal advice is to go running frequently! I would create a fitness programme for yourself to include 5km runs, 400m sprint intervals and then run the 2km once a week to keep a track of your progress. The only way you will improve running is to go running.
I hope this helps.

A piece of advice I was given that helped me when i was trying to reduce my run times was "You need to run faster than race pace" Essentially this means that you need to run a faster pace than you want to run your 2Km in, but for a shorter distance. As an example, if your target time was 10Km/H for 2Km then run 400M at 12Km/H, 5 times with rest in between.
There are loads of resources out there and Zoe mentioned an App in the reply above. The real key is consistency, just keep going and don't quit. We can give you all the tools except the right attitude. Good luck.
