How do I gain the GCSE to join the REME and become a Vehicle Mechanic?
I really want to become a Vehicle Mechanic REME but only have 1/3 GCSE’s needed, is there any way the army could help with this or does it simply mean I can not do this job role?

Hi Alfie,
Unfortunately, as with all jobs, you'd need the qualifications stated on entry requirements before joining. However, you could always consider joining a roll with a lower demand on qualifications (there are even roles that require no formal qualifications). Once in, you'll be able to use your learning credits toward developing your qualifications.
