How do I find out about someone who is in the British Army?
I wish to find information on a serving officer in Afghanistan.

Hello,
I think the best thing for you to do is to call the Army Personnel Centre Helpdesk on 0345 600 9663. They hold information on all soldiers and officers and are responsible for enquiries relating to the disclosure of information. As for how successful any enquiry will be, I can not comment. As I'm sure you can appreciate, the disclosure of information on any serving soldier or officer, especially if that relates to operations, is a sensitive matter.
