How do I become an apprentice?

Every time I try apply for an apprenticeship it makes me apply for the regular army instead, do I need to fill out that application and then do I go on to apply for the apprenticeship later or am I doing something wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks.

    Steven -. Supply Chain Operator

    Hello,

You may have misunderstood: you don't join as an apprentice, you join as a soldier in the British Army. You can gain an apprenticeship alongside your job.

You'll start your apprenticeship at Initial Trade Training (ITT) and normally complete it during your first posting.

As an example, if you join as a Supply Chain Operator, you'll start your ITT after you complete Basic Training. Here, you'll do your RLC Supply Chain Operator Class 3 course. At the same time, you'll also be enrolled onto the Level 2 Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship.
