How do holidays work whilst at the army? Do we have set days or can we choose the times we want to go on leave?

Good question!
There are usually "leave blocks" over Easter, Summer, and Christmas that we're encouraged to use.
However, we can request time off when we like as long as it's within our leave allowance and doesn't have any impact on essential work.
