Currently been running for around 30 mins every morning, any advice to increase my stamina? Been out the game a few years

Great to hear that you have found an interest and are actively seeking to improve.
You've already completed the hardest step which is getting the motivation to get out running and make a start so congrats! I would definitely recommend timing your run, whether its just a short distance or long distance, having an idea of how long it took you to complete can not only give you a good idea of your current ability, but can also serve as an extra motivator when you see that time coming down as you get better and better!
The biggest thing with regards to the actual fitness assessment itself is to make sure that you are always giving 100%. It will be noted by the assessors if you are putting in as much effort as possible and will show them how much you want this. Its great being able to meet the fitness standard, but if you do so without putting much effort in, then this will be critiqued and will show a lack of commitment from yourself.
Be careful not to get carried away with it however, pacing yourself can be absolutely vital in some situations, going to hard too fast or pushing yourself too far can cause injuries and other setbacks that could prevent you from reaching your goal sooner rather than later. So do bear this in mind too, stretching and rest days are your best friend with these and don't underestimate the importance of them.
If you speak to your recruiter when you're going through the application process, they will be able to tell you exactly where you sit in terms of your current fitness levels and what you could do to improve.
