Anything medical can affect your chances of successfully joining however each case regardless of what it was or how long ago is looked at on a case by case basis. The only way to get a definitive answer would be to apply. Because it was longer than 2 years ago your chances are slightly increased.

Hi, it would also depend if you were hospitalised and this was on your medical records. If it's not on your medical records it's not something you need to openly declare (unless there is a specific question on it on the medical form).
