Within your role, let's use Vehicle Mechanic as an example, you will be able to progress through different classes of Craftsman as you gain further qualifications as well as leaning on many different vehicles along the way. It would be less likely that you would jump between specialisms, say mechanic to metalsmith, as you would restart all that learning.

Our REME roles have an excellent apprenticeship behind them in the first instance and then as you progress you'll undertake further qualifications.
