hi there, there are several opportunities to broaden your horizons. Whilst you are in the ceremonial role you will learn all about horse care and welfare, and if you so wish you will be able to try and get on to the Farriers course, or you could also become a riding instructor. you will also learn how to maintain and care for the CVRT or in the near future the ajax, both are our armoured capabilities, this will give you the chance to learn basic mechanics which you can go on to learnmore about. These are specific to the household cavalry, but if you wish to further your education in most any other field, you will have things called learning credits which can be used to gain qualifications in most fields. These should all stand you in good stead for when you come to leave the army. I hope this has helped.
