As part of military training, every soldier will have to be exposed to CS gas so yes, even as a junior soldier you will undergo this test.

Yes Junior Solder's get exposed to CS Gas probably around 2 times. First being your initial introduction to it. Second being your testing phase after doing your CBRN written test.
As mentioned above, you will get initial exposure to it to test your respirator for serviceability and fitting then get introduced to the effects of CS has whilst in basic training.
You will do this annually as part of your annual training.
