Unless one of the soldiers here has previous experience with this situation you may not find your answer here. Unfortunately, we don't deal with your application.
If you apply, your eligibility will be checked and they'll ask you for any extra information needed. So, my advice would be to apply and find out. Applying doesn't mean you've committed to joining.
