Any help would be great. Advice on how to speak to parents about leaving the navy and joining the army. I am 17 years old and I want some more action in my life rather than spending it on a boat. I want to be out in the field with the exciting things that come with it.
Hi Harley,
The best advice i could offer, is to do your research.
When you know a lot about what you aspire to be a part of, it makes for much easier understanding to "sell" the idea to your parents.
If they are against the idea for some reason you'll be able to transfer yourself from the Navy directly via your CoC.
Thank you for writing back to me this has been so much help. Wish me luck
