I would like to no as I herd that the protection dogs are German shepherds and I have one myself so I know the temperament and how to handle them

I can’t really answer your question but I’m assuming you would be required to work with various types of dogs as working search dogs are used quite a lot when in deployment.
Dogs temperaments can differ.
