Hi, I’m wondering if im able to train with the army or if I have to do it before hand

I’m due to marry this year and have 2 children. Do I have to be qualified previously to joining or are there options to train as a nurse with the army? Also, are my family able to come with me if I tour the uk?

You can join the Army at any point providing you meet the required entry standards, age criteria and have the correct qualifications. As for nursing you can apply for either a student nurse role if you meet the correct standards where the army pay for your training or you can go direct as an already qualified nurse.

As for family when married or in a long term relationship 5+ years you are entitled to SFA / service family accommodation this will allow your family to move with you when you post out to different units but you will be made more aware about this nearer the time.
