Hello Ryan,
Many serving Soldiers and Officers in the British Army are in relationships and are married.
There are times where you can be away for extended periods, which can sometimes be difficult, but other than that it's a job like any other when it comes to the working week and you'll have evenings and weekends to spend how you please. If you're married or in a long term relationship you can get Service Family Accommodation (a house) near where you work for you and your family to live in.
Hopefully that's answered your worries, but if you have any other questions please feel welcome to follow up in the comments.
I was single when i joint the Army all those moons ago. I had one failed relationship in the early years.
while I was posted in Germany (2010), i met a girl at the train station of all places. I deployed to Afghan and when I came back me met up and when for a night out.
13 years later we are married with 2 kids.
Yes the Army can be hard on relationships, but I wouldn't of had what I do now without it.
