This would depend on how quickly you get to grips with the role tbh. No fixed timeline to guide you on. As for the same groups, i won't feed any disinformation, I'm unsure, but, typically as far as I'm aware WRT some other trades then yes you will be.
Each Soldier is given 38 leave days a year, additionally, you'll find that you have most weekends off too. Why not every weekend i hear you say? Imagine how easy it would be to destroy the Army if everyone was off for the weekend. 😆

Thanks for the reply Micheal I also wanted to know, I live like 3.5 hours away from London so throught the medical and whole process will I have to travel that far every time are there any alternatives will I get provided anything let me know cheers

No problem.
I believe you are learning towards asking about the Assessment Centre. There are several different assessment centres across the UK and you will be allocated to the one closest to you.
When i joined, i had to travel 1 hr 30 min away to the AC. That being said the Army cover the entire bill for train tickets and pick you up at your destination. Other then that the entire process is done virtually now.
