Hi, the biggest 'stopper' at the moment is the medical side of applications. Once you get to that point, really pushing your local GP to complete the required paperwork is critical. It will also depend on the capbadge that you are looking to join as some have longer waiting times (if they are full) and also depends on when training starts (it's throughout the year). Some people can join in 8 weeks, some it takes 8mths! As Dorian says, being proactive really will help! Good luck with it all.
