and I will be 16 years old at the time and I’m currently 15 years old and I’m about to my application. I know I cannot get deployed right away. I have to wait until the age of 18 but I just know what will I be doing if I’m gonna be there at 16 like after training, obviously and what will I be doing on a day-to-day life? Is it just training or do I have to do other things. I have no one to ask no one I know was ever in the army at 16 years old so I am having to guess at the moment but I really need some answers because it’s beginning to put me off trying to enlist

You can apply to join the Army at 15 and 7 months. People of that age will go to AFC Harrogate. Your time there will be decided by long long your Trade training will take. In your case, as Infantry you will conduced roughly 49 weeks of training at Harrogate before going to the Soldier Academy North for Trade training.

When you reach regimental duty, if you are still under 18, you can not be deployed on Operations. You can still be deployed on any other task in or outside of the UK, such as an exercise in Kenya.

Day to day at RD is easy going. Physical training in the morning. Daily jobs around camp before finishing for the day about 1700.
