Hi, how would I apply to become a radiographer through the army and what does the day-to-day look like.

    You would apply for the radiographer position the same way as any other application is made. You must ensure that you meet the right criteria beforehand which can be found on the link below. You can either apply when qualified or as a student.

    The day to day life of a radiographer will depend on weather or not you are in a field hospital or a regular hospital. If part of the Joint hospital group JHG then you would be doing your qualified job day to day.

    If you are at a field hospital you may be required to help conduct training. Or learn how to do your job remotely in a purpose built facility. Because this would be a professional qualification you will still be given time out of work to ensure that you are maintaining your clinical hours to remain current and competent.

    There is an extra process for this during the application phase as it is a specialists job.
