Hi could you tell me what regiment I would need to join if I was interested in eventually becoming a sniper?

Any infantry unit would be your choice if you’re looking at becoming a sniper later down the line in your career

That would be the infantry or a cavalry regiment as they deal more with the combat side of things, however its not guaranteed as you will need to become part of a normal infantry or cavalry unit then tell them you want to be a sniper and they will put you on the courses

I've heard the sniper course is very difficult and only the best get through.

It is one of the more difficult roles however its also one of the more rewarding
