Edoardo R. asked a question to Rob H.
Still Edoardo R. here, just wanted to better explain "I have students" : I'm a piano teacher and in the evenings and weekends I've got private students, so I wouldn't be able to attend the reserve officer training/job in those moments.
I would be able to do the officer training in the morning, 9am to 4pm let's say, up to 4 times a week... is that possible?
Hope that's make sense, thanks for your time.
Edoardo R.
Hi Edoardo,
Basically it depends on the unit you join. Many of them can be quite flexible in how you complete your training. It is also worth remembering that it is only one night a week and not every weekend. Depending on the unit you join, your minimum training commitment could be 19 or 27 days a year - rewarded with a tax-free lump sum called a bounty. This bounty increases after each year of service.
Hope this helps make it more manageable around your work.
Although it's a regular role have you considered the Royal Corps of Army Music? https://www.army.mod.uk/learn-and-explore/about-the-army/corps-regiments-and-units/royal-corps-of-army-music/
Hi Sir, Thanks for your answer.
I meant to apply for an HR Officer, I'm also working as Sales&Marketing assistant and got a Bachelor degree in Economics and Business administration...can you please tell me more about the role as HR officer?
Thanks again,
Edoardo R.
Ps Thanks for the music role advice, but is there a piano in the Royal Corps of Army music? Thanks.
Hi Edoardo, the Duchess of Edinburgh String Orchestra employs two full time pianists. If you would more information, please visit the following - https://linktr.ee/britisharmymusic
