For front line soldier
Hello, thank you for your question.
The physical standards that must be met at the Assessment Centre for an Infantry soldier are as follows; Mid Thigh Pull 76kgs, Medicine Ball Throw 3.1m, 2km run 10 minutes 15 seconds.
If these standards are not met at the Assessment centre, you will not be accepted as an infantry soldier.
However, different roles have different fitness standards. My role as HR Specialist in the Adjutant General's Corps requires Mid Thigh Pull 46kgs, Medicine Ball Throw 2.9m and 2km run 11 minute 15 seconds or 11 minute 30 seconds for junior entry.
I hope this helps.
