Feyisetan A. asked a question to Caitlin B.
My advice would be to go for it! Although I can't advise specifically on what it is like being a mum whilst serving, I have plenty of friends who are and have had really positive experiences. The Army offers a wraparound childcare scheme to try and help cover the potential costs of childcare as well a flexible working scheme for parents who may need this option. Alternatively, there is always the option to join a reserve unit instead or joining the regular Army, as this allows you to work part-time. I hope this answers your question.
