Have the regulations on men's hair changed at all or are you still expected to have short hair?
I have about shoulder length hair (not for religious reasons) that I usually tie up, the thought of having to buzz it or cut it off is honestly the only thing making me second guess joining. Thanks.

There haven't been any recent changes to the regulations on hair: it still needs to be off the collar and ears. This doesn't mean that you have to have a buzz cut or cut your hair off, though. After Basic Training the general rule is that anything covered by your beret is "yours".
