Haircut rules

I have medium long curly hair and i know i have to keep it short could i get a regulation haircut instead of a buzzcut so i have hair on top and it is short or im i forced to have a buzzcut and it sort of goes against my religion to not have hair on top can someone help me on this.

    Hello. You will not be forced to have a buzz cut when you join the army. You will have to keep your well kept, trimmed, neat and tidy. Typically your hair must be above the collar and ears so you can have it longer on top but within reason. Women may have their hail long but kept tide up and away from the face. Thanks.

    At the moment no but with exception for religious reasons.
