Good Morning Ossom,
Unfortunately despite working in Recruiting, we aren't privy to when the portal opens or closes. It just happens one day. All i can suggest is to refer back to the Army website daily to check. That way once it does open, you will be aware, day one and be able to apply. Frustrating i know, i share that. Persevere, because a life as a British Solider is incredible.
If you are a Musician and able to read sheet music you maybe able to bypass this, should you already be suitably qualified.
