Hi Daniel.
Work and life balance. Its probably a lot better than what you think. Normal day to day in the UK for the majority of people in the Army will be about 60-70% life and 30-40% work. Most weekends you'll get off. The evenings are yours to do as you please. Even when your in work you get breaks so it's not like its a constant output. It might feel like that sometimes when your busy though. When your away on ops though as you might be able to imagine the ballance is more on the work side of things.
