Going to Phase 1 soon—can you change roles if you find another trade you prefer during training?
Just curious if switching roles is possible based on interest, or performance once training has started.

Switching based on performance won't be a factor due the passing the Assessment centre for your then selected role.
As for switching whilst in training, i personally wouldn't recommend it. A lot of time and money will have been invested in you to this point. The time you have to decide on trades/ roles is with your lead recruiter during your application process/ career discussion not to mention this is what you passed at the AC.
If you are due to start training soon I'd personally give it a go, remain in that role for 3 or 4 years before opting to change should you still wish to. Good luck.
