MSMatthew S. Aviation Communications Specialist
On arrival for trade training at Middle Wallop, you will complete an Aviation Soldier Course (ASol). This gives you the basic elements of both communications and groundcrew job roles. You will then have a preference on whether you would like to be an Aviation Groundcrew Specialist or Aviation Communications Specialist. Dependant on what the AAC needs and how you perform on the ASol course will determine your trade. Generally speaking the vast majority will get their first preference.
